The Vancouver Horse Show Building was specifically planned and built by the City of Vancouver for the unique purpose of showing and showcasing horses. It's location was between Georgia and Alberni, close to the entrance of Stanley Park. How many cities do you know that specifically built structures to house horse shows and so close to their centre? Please visit WestEndVancouver that has a wonderful history of this building and the early days of the horse show.
